Jay is a front-end developer who has seen all the web versions go great.

  • You may remember me as Jeni Grant.
  • I was one of the first wave of web based user experience (UX) designers and helped design and develop some pretty cool stuff at Koroberi, Sports Endeavors, iContact, Lowes Hardware, and more.
  • I've been developing Javascript for 25 years, HTML and CSS longer than that. I will always be a little perplexed that Brendan Eich's spaghetti is now what the Internet runs on.

  • The opossum's name is Jim. We don't talk about Jim.
  • I'm queer. ⚧️🏳️‍🌈 I also talk about being LGBTQ+ from time to time.
  • I view emoji with suspicion. It may move. <sidelong stare>
  • I can't spell. I grammar good. My quotation marks are rarely smart. I abuse parenthesis and em-dashes. I'm in a passionate love affair with semi-colons. I adore language and linguistics and do gloriously horrible things to both.
